My smallest weed eater is an ECH model SRM2200. I have used this since 1979 with no problems. Also have 2 Stiles. -

Newbie with a new toy!
Make sure before you run the 8N with bush hog you get an overriding coupler and put it between the PTO shaft and the bush hogs coupling. They sell them on this site- DGinVT

Sharpness of bush hob blades
I use an angle on my Woods bush hog. It is 5 ft in diameter . I just smooth down blades and no more. Works well an I have done this for over 20 years.- DGinVT

rear tractor tires
IF you are using split rims, make sure that they are inflated in a tire cage or wrap chain around the tire . both will prevent you from getting hit should that ring decide to fly off. If you get hit by the ring it can easily kill you. I always tapped the inflated tire while wrapped with the... -

O/T Dogs chasing cars
Shock collers work very well. I have used one on our last two labs. They can be gotten from Cabelas and you don't need the most expesive one. -

It's a black powder horn made from a cow's horn. When it was used, there was a small rawhide strap attached around both ends so it could be conventily carried slung over your shoulder. 9N Block Heater
Years ago when I had my 9N the block heater went in the lower radiator hose. never had a problem when I started it in the winter.- DGinVT
