    Heat the gear to 400 degrees and see what the bore expands too. Gear MIGHT need heated before it's pressed in place. I use a toaster oven a lot to heat gears/bearings when needed.

    That's why it's a COMPRESSION problem. I have the same Ford 5000 that ran fine warm but would NOT start cold in a 60 degree building.     Runs fine warm, miss when cold is s sign of low compression. Pump is not the trouble. Diesels can run fine when warm with 250/275 PSI compression, but won't start/run well that low when cold. 350/425 PSI is needed for best results.

    Flywheel bolts 1850, Can I used Loctitie?

    Los Tite needs clean/dry threads to work right, some injection pumps need it in given areas or they won't stay together. Through holes should have it applied to the thread of hardware going INTO the hole. BLIND holes need the Loc Tite applied sparingly to the upper hole thread area or it won't...

    Axle planetary outer cover housing where stub axle goes through for 65, 85. 150. or 165

    You will need to match what you need at a parts yard, MF used a LOT of different bearing designs on those axle planetary parts, and I KNOW the 85 is larger than the 65 has. The EARLY 65 used a tapered inner bearing, the LATE 65 used a cone/thrust bearing design.

    I don't have one here to try that yet. The EARLY 4000 which is similar shows top speed is 18 MPH for the SOS, I thought they were a bit faster than that.
