Cub Cadet 122 . Has anyone made their own hydraulic lift ?

Does anyone know what size ram to use for a custom setup ? How much piston travel ? Those JD parts I was looking at disappeared quick .

Cub Cadet 122 . Has anyone made their own hydraulic lift ?

I did a little searching and found these parts from a John Deere . Maybe I can make them work .

Cub Cadet 122 . Has anyone made their own hydraulic lift ?

I got a free Cub Cadet 122 and hydraulics are pretty pricey to buy . Has anyone made their own ? I was a machinist for 24 years and could make some parts . I'm looking for resources like part drawings , off the shelf parts that can be used like rams and pumps , and to hear some success stories...

Case Ingersoll 226 . Any fans of this tractor on the site ?

Got an opportunity to pick up this tractor with a snow blade , four foot snowblower , winch , hydra bagger , and mower deck for $500 . It has sat for four years but the owner says it ran when parked . Are there any users here that can weigh in on the good and bad about this tractor ? Thanks .

Free Cub Cadet 122 . Worth Saving ?

A good friend's mom is offering me to take her CC 122 Tractor at no cost . We looked at it the best we could in the dark last night and it looks like it is in reasonable condition . I think it has the hydraulic lift too . Early 70's I was told . I have seen some attachments going cheap for these...

    Will a Dearborn 19-80 snow plow fit on a 2N ?

I found a nice condition 19-80 hydraulic plow with an extra subframe included in the deal . I'd love to buy it but I'm not sure if it will fit the 2N . Not much came up on Google either .

Any members in southern Maine ? I'm looking to buy a few things .

Any members in Maine ? I'm picking up a Ford 2n this week and am looking for a few used things to get started . Top link bracket and top link , rear scoop bucket , 3pt scraper blade , 3 pt boom/ log tongs , post hole digger , snow plow , maybe a loader . I don't mind old stuff as long as they...

If you had to choose one Oliver Super 55 , Farmall Super A, Nuffield 4/65

Looks like I'm going to get a Ford 2N in really nice condition . Kept indoors , super clean . New tires . Smooth runner . Only $1500 . The other sellers were flaky to say the least . For my intended use this one feels right .

If you had to choose one Oliver Super 55 , Farmall Super A, Nuffield 4/65

Here is the Super 55. Looks like a rugged subframe for the loader and backhoe . I think they are original equipment .

If you had to choose one Oliver Super 55 , Farmall Super A, Nuffield 4/65

Yes . That is why I am considering the Farmall . Even though I really want the Oliver . I could fix most anything on the Farmall myself . It is the cheapest to buy and service . Good shape too . And it would fit in my carport . No backhoe but it's not a deal breaker . I saw a guy skidding a...
