My only concern is not knowing if someone has messed with the gear and got it off a tooth or so when it was apart before me. It looks like the gear stays pretty well put when the pump is pulled. That was what I came across. That was why I was hoping someone could tell by the casting or serial number what this engine was out of. I was doubtful someone replaced it with another skidsteer version of the engine.- Dodgeguy89

L785 skidsteer. Issue is the previous owner changed the motor and the guy I got it from had no info of what it was from or a year. The injection pump on it not sure if it is correct for it. Number on the pump is 3833 f 390. The skidsteer comes back as a 1991. Maybe I am making this harder than...- Dodgeguy89

So I am in a bit of a dilemma. I am posting this here because of it having a ford engine. I ended up getting a new holland skidsteer that has a ford 3 cylinder diesel.
