    Well, If he"s selling the things, My guess is that is does not want to say too much has to have you go out, get the parts and make your own... Bad for business. Just a guess, hunch, shot in the dark.... And it could be he"s like his answers... "kinda odd" But what do I know....

    ignition switch again

    You can trouble shoot your switch by putting a jumper across the switch, therefore bypassing it. Easy to do to test it make sure it is the switch before you spend money.... Just my 2 cents....

    OT Setting posts for pole barn

    a guy painted his ground posts with the rubberized truck bed liner to about a foot above the ground to try to protect them.... I think he had more money then sense though....

    OT Buy A House In A Cornfield?

    If your on well water there I"d get it tested for everything you can to make sure it is safe to drink. With everything they spray now days I would think some of that would get into your ground water.

    general comment about change re: 6v conv thread

    To each their own as the saying goes. Owning these old tractors is like owning a motorcycle or car. You add accessories, lights, ground effects, radios, GPS... You tune it for gas mileage or you hot rod it out for horsepower anything your heart desires... Doing so makes it what you want & to fit...

    8N won't start

    An inch of fuel in your air vent tube? You either flooded the heck out of it or your float isn"t closing, because of dirt in the carb from fuel?

    Front end blade ?'s

    Been looking into the front end blades for my 8n to push snow. Looking at pictures from this site it looks like the belly bracket mounts to the rear axles. 1) Where/How dos the front mount? Front axles? 2) Who all made these? dearborn/arps 3) Anyone make their own? 4)Is this hard on the front...

    Well, I don't blame you for going to the doc's. 10 or so stings would have me in the hospital if not in the ground.
