    Umbrella Options?

The three Ford roll bars I have all had the top round tube that protruded through the side uprights. I cut the protruding portion with a cut-off wheel and then used the BareCo mounting hardware that came with the canopy. BareCo uses some large U-bolts to hold the plates and bars.

My HF grinder has a terrible vibration that my other ones do not. I try to use it as little as possible.

Service Manual for Ford 4600SU not complete

My experience with I&T manuals is they use section numbers, not page numbers. So if they reference #156 it's not page 156 but section. There are often multiple sections on a page. Take a second look and see if that makes sense. While more expensive, the factory manuals are more comprehensive...

For Those who Sell Hay - Prices in 2026?

That is bales on the ground. I often help throw onto the trailer and help the younger kids that haven't spent time around hay bales. Once they learn the system for stacking they can work on their own and then I usually circle back to make sure its tied down well.

For Those who Sell Hay - Prices in 2026?

I sell small squares out of the field at the home place for 7.00/bale. Same people come back every year because they like the way I make hay. One guy asks me to store about 50 bales for him that he picks up at lambing time in Jan-Feb so I charge him an extra 2.00/per for storage. I think I...

    A little advice.

I have a 35hp Kubota w/ 4wd and a loader. It has been a super versatile tool and handles the bulk of the chores around the farm. However, if I was clearing land it would not be my choice because the loader is not designed for sustained digging/pushing and I would be afraid of breaking...

Found the neatest place to eat in Colorado

I've eaten at the one in Delta, CO many times. After you eat a large breakfast they try to send you out the door with a huge cinnamon roll.

    Welder question s

I have used my Miller AC/DC welder (220volt) powered by my Generac 5500W generator for some field repairs. I think I ran 120 amps DC and it did the job. Since they were minor repairs I wasn't welding much more than half a rod at any time.

    Stock trailer rebuild project

I did that on sisters horse trailer. It was like it would never end! It was hard to know when I had arrived at "good enough". Always glad you did the work to make it right, but man is it alot of effort.

7600 turbo oil supply/drain line gaskets

For that matter, would a standard o-ring work? Seems like a round o-ring seals on two sides.; does the square cut o-ring seal on four?

7600 turbo oil supply/drain line gaskets

Thanks. Great to see it is a listed part for a newer series. Guess they forgot to update the 7600 drawing.

7600 turbo oil supply/drain line gaskets

I am putting my 7600 engine back together and would like to replace the o-rings (look like square cut) on the lines. I do not see them listed as separate items on the parts diagram; has anyone found dimensions or an alternate part#? Mine are crunchy and were leaking so they need to be replaced.

8000 401 Injector tips and compression

My 8000 was a hard starter but improved dramatically after I changed the oil in the injection pump cam box. I don't think the PO knew about changing it because what I drained out was very thin. I would start with the simple things.
