    I will send you pictures. I found them on my phone from five years ago. If I remember correctly I used a coupling nut and some 1/4" all thread to extend the bolt; don't recall about the spring. I do have a lathe and mill but they were simple jobs.

    The three Ford roll bars I have all had the top round tube that protruded through the side uprights. I cut the protruding portion with a cut-off wheel and then used the BareCo mounting hardware that came with the canopy. BareCo uses some large U-bolts to hold the plates and bars.

    That is bales on the ground. I often help throw onto the trailer and help the younger kids that haven't spent time around hay bales. Once they learn the system for stacking they can work on their own and then I usually circle back to make sure its tied down well.

    Welder question s

    I have used my Miller AC/DC welder (220volt) powered by my Generac 5500W generator for some field repairs. I think I ran 120 amps DC and it did the job. Since they were minor repairs I wasn't welding much more than half a rod at any time.
