    The farm I work for has an 1800 FWA with a 5.9 cummins and duals all the way around, and also a 1750 FWA with a 5.9 cummins. They both run and operate flawlessly.

    354 Perk into an 1800

    I was told it was a 283, not really sure how to tell the difference. The cracks are located over the injector port. There is a crack in each one and they are visible from inside the port and on the face of the head. I have not yet magnafluxed it to look for more.

    By oil i assume you mean hydraulic fluid? Narrow down how the fluid can get in and go from there. Is there a pinhole in the pan? What about the seal behind the pump gear. Been awhile since I've had one apart but there arent a lot of places to swap fluids is there? The rearend might bolt up, but...
