    Farmall B Brakes

    They are band brakes.You need to unbolt the planetary gear and the axle slides out of the rear with it,you need to drain the rear end fluid first to.its not a big job.but the gear assembly does weigh a good amount so you may need two people.

    Sounds like your disc's are burnt up.Someone told me that a guy out west makes new ones on a CNC.I don't have a name.My M would slip with a 10' harrow and with a 1/4 of a turn the front end would come off the ground so a little adjustment goes a long way.

    Thanks for the good info!I took off the F to F jumper wire but I didn't see it charge.It charges all the time and higher with more throttle with the jumper.Does the cutout not charge constantly when wired correct?

    I just bought a parts A and it had a mag with a generator that charged,weird thing is that it had a jumper from (F) on the gen to (F) on the cutout plus the wire leaving (F) to the switch.It charged,but when I put it on my BN without the jumper it didn't so I put it back and it charges.i don't...
