Center ramp for narrow front end
Friend of mine loads his H Farmall with two 2x8 6’ long. His trailer is deck over tire configuration so pretty tall. Another detail is the H has been fitted with a 7.3 V-8 diesel from an old Ford truck. His tricycle front is pretty heavy- DPittman

old tractors need help fixing
I don’t have any papers that say I know how to work on stuff, but I do. Take care of stuff that I can and what I can’t goes to my mechanic. Not afraid to work on someone else’s equipment but hesitant to do so because of liabilities. Old tractors are not so much of a problem but then you run into...- DPittman

Concur. I think TVs in the 70s were starting to get smaller but who knows how old the one in the picture is. Our house was built mid sixties and our living room is paneling. Swap a 504 from an MM705 into a white 1870 / G955?
I don’t know a whole lot about a whole lot but I think the 705 is a pretty rare tractor. I would check into that before I used the engine for the 1870. I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong. As far as the actual swap,🤷♂️- DPittman

No I haven’t. But it reminds me of a guy I saw plowing with a 3/4 ton at Pinckneyville. Early 80s model, 4wd and I’m sure a 454 in it pulling 3 bottoms with authority. It was said that was one of Chevrolet advertising claims that their trucks could do that and that guy was proving them right...- DPittman
