Where is serial # on a 643 cornhead
Serial # breaks: 100,000 1974, 150,000 1975 and so on up to 600,000 which is a 1984. In 1985 the number is 610,000, 1986 615,000, 1987 620,000 and so on until the last year they made the 643 which is 1992 serial # 645,000. They skipped 605,000 so that is not a mistake. governor searching
My 630 was hunting and I thought sure it was the governor. I bought a used governor for it but before I put it on the tractor started running only on one cylinder. I swapped a carb off my other 630 and solved both problems. The post that said plugged passage ways was right on for me. Drummer- Drummer
