    Maxwell and Ellis are probably both right about Deere using the basic wheels and hubs for different applications, but the question now is narrowed down to "What uses those sawtoothed bars that appear on each wheel?"

    "How cold is "cold"?" is a good question.....such as below freezing? You could have some barely noticable ice crystal in the fuel.

    From how you have described the tractor and loader I think that is a decent price. Three years ago I paid $2600 for a 1955 Ford 740 with a blade and good chains. It was in basically the same condition that you have described, although it had new rear tires. It was only after plenty haggling...
