    6ft rotary cutter with a TO35

Found a deal on a 6ft rotary cutter. Thought I'd try it behind my 55 model TO35 when I get it all back together. Think the little tractor will handle it ok? I have a 5 foot that I've got to re-build but thought I'd hang on to this six foot and give it a try. Mainly will be clipping around the...

    JD 3 bottom plow restoration

Check out OxyStyx epoxy primer. It sprays well and has worked well for me. Get it from an outfit called the coatingstore.com. I use every way possible to get the rust off... wire brushing with 4 inch grinder/brush, scale gun and even electrolysis on some parts. Get it clean, clean.

12v wiring harness for TO35 with generator

d I was scratching my head too like you and Steve but since this is one I plan to pass on to the grandkids, I thought I'd do it right. The suppliers will offer a harness but in the same add say "6v only" so...I was concerned about buying one that said for 6v only. Thanks to all for the advice.

12v wiring harness for TO35 with generator

Anybody out there have a suggestion for a source? Looking for a wiring harness for a 55 model TO35 with 12v generator system. Serial #165393. Find plenty for 6 volt but trouble finding one for a 12 volt system and don't want to have to make one. Thanks, dwaldro

    IH Red paint brands

Check out this supplier. Thecoatingstore.com. The epoxy primer and paint they sell is awsome and it's a heck of a lot cheaper than the "big name" paints. This outfit does all of its marketing via the net so...they can sell quality products at a reasonable cost.

Re: MRS Tractor Mississippi Road Service Looking f

his won't help you in searching for parts but just a little info here. My uncle worked for MRS Tractor. They were located in Flora, MS which is about 20 miles north of Jackson MS. I thought they closed down that plant in the early to mid 70's but I could be mistaken. I've never seen one of their...

    trans/hyd oil again

ey Steve. I had the same question about mine and I used the GL1 from Napa. I was told the reason the GL1 is to be used is due to the sulfur in new oils/fluids. I think it took 8 gallons.

Finding PROPER color paint for my 55 TO35

South MS. Ordered some rattle can paint from a vendor off of this site just to see if the color was right. Plan was to match it to a good automotive type paint. It was way to dark. There is a Sherwin Williams paint store about 70 miles up the road so...I may have to give that a try.

Finding PROPER color paint for my 55 TO35

Never realized how difficult it would be trying to get the CORRECT color of gray and metallic green for my 55 Ferguson TO35. Lots of paint out there but I'll be danged if I can find one in my area that is the correct gray or green. I've got the paint color numbers from FENA and still can't seem...

    Rust stopper/Primer

As soon as I wash the metal to get the phosphoric acid off, I will have flash rust. Very high humidity here. I guess I will go over the washed metal with some 600 wet or dry and then wipe it down and try to prime as soon as I can after doing that. [i:f0d57b5b1f]It makes me ask the question...
