    ford 860 no compresion on 2 and 3 valves??

    did a compression check, got 125 and 150 on 1 and 4, decided to pul the head and discoverd that the head gasket was blowed between 2 and 3 cylinder walls look good so a valve job and new gaskets it should be good again,, thanks for all the info doug

    no I haven't considered that possibility, very well could be that, I think I might get busy and pull the head in the morning

    I bought a ford 860 that, I am thinking it has a bent, burnt valve on #2 or #3 because it has no compresion on either cylinder and it is blowing hot exhaust out of either hole. what is the firing order on these engines.

    the serial is wdcbm 30229 the parent( block ) bore is 4 11/16 with a 4 1/2 piston, 2638 is on the outside of the liner. the piston number is 267259R3-MP the casting number on the head is 278292R2

    is the parent bore the same on a D335 and A D350 block, the sleeves i pulled out are 4 11/16" parent with a 4 1/2" bore I thought I had a 350,now I think I have a 335 block with with overbore liners and a 350 head

    WD-9 not firing

    bleed the first filter by gravity, the second will be bled by the lift pump, if the drive is broken, it will not bleed or run on diesel.check the butterflies on the intake and make sure the are closing.

    need help removing injector stuck in block on a WD9

    got out all but one injector on my wd9 and it is froze in the block. any ideas on how to get it out any body ever seen a puller for these blasted things. and are the studs threaded into the block or are the pressed in? doug

    leaking injector

    I am not sure if there is anything wrong the the pre cups or not, the injector is leaking around the center. there are 2 bolts up and down and 2 studs side to side that hold the whole assemlby in place: so to get the injector out, I remove the 2 nuts on the studs and try to pry the thing out...
