    Case la Detroit Worth?

    Thinking of selling my 51 la with a fresh out of frame 371 Detroit. Needs paint. What is it worth?

    1936 case cc

    Cc case has a slightly higher 1st gear. And a different low compression head. I just pulled my tired DC yesterday with a short draw bar at 20" with 18.4x34 tires. Good all fuel head 4" bore that's pretty weak in one cylinder. 5500 pounds. And still spins out.

    If you're keeping stock tire size and stock draw bar and your engine is in good shape u will not need more power. Get the 4" bore kit from Don Livingston on eBay a dc head won't be bad idea. Been pulling DC's for 17 years in factory class to 5500lbs not run out of power yet.

    Looks like in the book that the shaft with the seals are in the part that stays in the tractor.

    SC mechanical lift to hydraulic

    I have looked in to this my self and found that it is all the same except the hydraulic is bigger on the DC and the pin is bigger on the lift arms for the hydraulic. But it will all bolt up.

    Trying to pull the PTO drive shaft out and it is not moving. The book don't say that it is held in by anything.any help would be great. AKA tractor is on a diet for pulling.

    Case DC

    My DC with all fuel head has seen 53 HP with 4" piston and a better carburetor. I got another with 4 1/16 pistons and gas head but the m and w pistons with no dome are lower compression than stock. I would think that if u take.100 off the head got a copper head gasket and bigger carb u would...

    case cc compression

    my DC has 92psi but has m and w 4 1/16 piston and they run on the low side. I have a another with the 4" but low compression head and also makes 92 psi. If I had to gess u will be around 100psi
