Should the 3 point on my 8n be dropping when push the clutch in or should it hold?- ET HUGEN

FORD 8N QUESTION
I recently bought a Ford 8n and when the pto is engaged and i step on the clutch. the 3 point drops. is this normal ? if not any suggestions on where to start would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.- ET HUGEN
