    I remember when deere first started doing this about 12 years ago, they forced closed our local dealer here C.J. Perry and Son..... now we have to drive 40 miles to get parts or service.

    my JD 4230 is a perfect baling tractor. its a lil bigger than your thinking but mine runs my JD 336 baler with a kicker rack behind it. perfect baling tractor for me

    we got one at home- rebuilt the engine at 6800 hours- bad balancer shafts... runs like a raped ape now. great machine got a 48 loader on it. reliable machines and run really good. got big 12.5-15 tires on the front end- really helps with the loaders weight. if you mount a loader used a closed...

    John Deere 2240 with Hi Lo can crank it around easily works great for getting wagons in the barn.

    choosing a mixer grinder for a 70 hp tractor

    we run a New Holland 355 on a john deere 2630(80 hp) works like a charm grindin cob corn, she aint a big fan of oats and wheat but it did the job, now were runnin it on a 4230 (105 hp)

    we have a NH 306 spreader, dad bought it at an auction biggest waste of money and time to fix, tried to spread pen pack with the thing on a 4440 JD we had to put 500 gallons of water in the spreader for it to even attempt to spread it. trying to sell it if anyone's interested, didn't work for...
