    Wheat Looking Good

    Took a drive out the driveway this evening and stopped for a picture of two of the spring wheat. After an inch of rain over the past couple of days and I forget how much the week before, it is looking very green and thick.

    The line for the gauge is cut, so I'll have to find the entire gauge. I ordered a manual, but not sure I got the right one. It is a IH 3414 Torque Shuttle Transmission Manual

    It must have a converter, because it has a converter pressure gauge-don't think it works. I will get a manual and do the P checks.

    PS ... I did some backdragging with the machine and used the brakes to steer against the tranny...hope this wouldn't hurt it...I'd say I did it for an hour or two total.

    My IH 3414 is slipping. It is going into gear from the hydrashuttle not at all, then sort of all at once and it will lose its giddyup sometimes when I go up a hill, etc. I did a transmission service on it and changed all the fluids (after the problem) and I realized there is a pretty bad leak...
