    The tractor operates as it should, minus the park brake, so would think if the worn out brake had polluted the hydraulics it would behave poorly, but operating seems normal. Was a one owner tractor 1991 - now, as it is a dealer trade in.

    Looking at a maxxum 5140 as a loader tractor, reduced price due to park brake being completely out. Safe to use?... long as operator does not leave the seat while operating, and park on flat with both rear wheels chocked, and loader seated on ground? Thoughts?
