    Where is the best place to measure the voltage being generated by the genny as it charges the battery while the tractor is running? I have I 130 with a VR.

    How do i know that the ammeter is wired correctly. Are the posts on the ammeter labeled? And if so how are the labeled (+)(-)? On a positive ground setup which post goes to the battery/starter and which one goes to the VR (Bat)?

A neighbor thought he would be helpful by fixing my in-laws tractor and thought he found the problem that the battery was installed backwards so he reversed the terminals and connected it...
