    Farmall H Switch

    Thanks Guys. It looks like I've got a voltage regulator. There are 3 poles on one side, and 1 on the other. Looking at pictures of VRs and COs, it looks like the VRs. Inside there are 2 electromagnet relays. Voltage Regulator, right?

    OK, so I want 3 position if I have a good ol' voltage regulator and a 4 position with a cut-out. I guess that makes sense. So, now I have to figure out if I have a cut-out or VR!

    Rust kill

    Not only does electrolysis work pretty well on rust, it's a hell of a paint remover! I've given up completely on trying to wire brush or sand blast old paint off, just soak it over night (or a couple days for very heavily painted parts) and the paint just peels off! Have to get it primed pretty...

    Experts, ;) I purchased a Farmall H circa 1950 I think and it didn"t have the light switch when I got it. I would like to put one in, but don"t know how to tell if I need a 3 position or 4 position switch. How would I know? Here"s some info on the electrical that I know: 6 volt, Positive ground...

    Looking for information on how much play is too much on the governor. The arm that the connector rod attaches to seems loose. There isn't much play back and forth, but rather in and out. The shaft slides in the housing and back out between 3/16 to 1/4" (maybe a little more, I didn't measure)...
