    10-18 throttle control

    I am working on a 10-18 crossmount. If you advance the throttle control it makes no difference in the engine speed. I have never worked on an engine where the throttle works independently of the governor control spring. Does the governor spring tension need adjusting?

    There is an auction today in southern Oregon. There is an F-12 with a #86 mounted 2-way 1 bottom plow. The engine has new liners, pistons, rings and rod bearings in it. Deupree auctions is handling the auction. I will post the results.

    I have 2 of them. One, I can't get the impulse to work properly. The impulse does engage. I have squirted penetrating oil into all of the oilers.     I-12 IS-1507 starting procedure and spark advance

    I can attest from personal experience that the spark advance lever needs to be in the start position when hand cranking. It won't hurt a thing to have the lever in the start position when cranking with a starter, so why have the conversation.
