    Changing the camshaft gear on my Super C

    I've never been inside a Farmall engine before. How does the camshaft gear attach to the camshaft? is it a pressed fit? Would it be better to loosen the rocker arms, pop off the side cover, pull out the lifters, and just remove the camshaft and do it on the bench?

    Tonight I removed my non-working hydraulic pump from my Super C, and I found out why it wasn't pumping. All the teeth are stripped off the gear in the engine that drives the pump gear.     I'm going shopping tomorrow, and my '51 Super C needs an oil change. Anyone know what filter I need? maybe a part number? Also, my '49 H (magneto ignition) needs a set of sparkplugs before the 4th of July Parade. What plugs do you guys recommend?
