    Well, no luck finding the flex coupler anywhere. tried the Brillion locator but no one there had any idea about the parts ,so I work at a quarry I grabbed old some old 3/4 and 3/8 belting and made a pattern as close as I could, and used a whole punch to punch the holes out and it’s back...

    Thanks you are 100% correct . Now to find replacement parts😳 might have to end up making them out of some rubber belting cause I doubt you can buy parts for it anymore

    You are correct the coupler that goes between the side shaft it literally blew the coupler into pieces. I’ve found some online but they have vague measurements Holes need to be 4” on center

    My father has a Ford 2000 and on the right side of the rear end axle housing is an adjustment screw with lock nut he has no idea what it does. He even called the Ford dealership and they have no clue either. I’m sure someone knows in this group 😁😁

    OK All fixed, took the toolbox out and found the block up under the dashboard. When you turn the key on the hot wire that went to the coil also had a wire hooked to it from the voltage regulator, and thats where it was backfeeding. Unhooked it and put it on the other block, Charges ,and it...

    It actually is a generator system. I told my father tell the guy hes fixing it for just push the throttle up in the thing shuts off fine, not really an issue to me, but now that Im into it I really want to know why its not shutting off lol.

    It still has the original generator system Thought about the diode though trying to figure where to put it..I know when you convert to. 12v with alt. you need diode

    Thats what I told him about throttle lol I always idle down before shutting down. Problem solved
