Is gas cutoff story la myth?
I have a 1946 Cessna 140 airplane. It has two gravity fed fuel tanks, one in each wing. I always turn the fuel valve off when I'm done flying. If I don't shut the fuel off I'm depending on the carb float valve to hold back 25 gallons of fuel from dumping out on my hanger floor. Major fire risk...- fastflyer

water pump question
I needed a water pump for my 8n this past summer. The old one was very wobbly on the shaft while running. It it lets go it will destroy your radiator. I ordered a new one. When it came the mounting lugs were to thick and the overall height with the pulley installed was higher than the old one...- fastflyer

uhaul car transport for 8N
I've rented a u-haul auto carrier trailer a couple times to haul my 8n. Fits perfect width wise and has nice pull out ramps. Not sure how you will load your tractor if it's not running and you can' drive it on. And yes they will ask what you are hauling. I tell them a 2000 Ford Focus. Works...- fastflyer

I have my grandpa's 1950 N he bought new. The N is retired now living a life of luxury in my garage after many years of faithful service.
