    The owners manual says 32, but no one near me stocks it. After reading through some previous posts 20 should work, should I be concerned about voiding the warranty?

    I shut the fuel off everytime I shut it down. the shutoff does not always work though, I have a replacement for when the tank gets empty. That may be awhile, it get very good MPH.

    I did the best I could and left the rest to the "expert". It is running great, he did get it going well, just left some things undone and unmentioned. I never got my carb back from him, and from the way it sometimes has a lack of low end power, I believe the new carb may need the extra hole...

    For all of you folks that shut off the fuel and run it til it dies....

    I've done that with the other engines and even the livestock water tank. Running a hose from the well, the water ran all night and never went dry. Our pasture was well watered though, no pun intended.

    This is the issue I was warned about by more than one person. That is why I believe the fuel shut-off must be in working condition. Thank you for bringing this info forward. F O T

    I must have gotten a defective fuel shutoff valve. I'll try another new one once the tank is empty. Thank you for the replies.

    My 2N runs forever after shutting the fuel off. It does sputter/die if I drive it with the fuel turned off after 5-10 minutes. It will idle until I turn off the key with the fuel turned off. Do these tractors really get that kind of "mileage"? Yes, I am turning the new shut off valve clockwise...
