Black Friday shopping

Vehicle title question.
The wife and I have done this on several vehicles titled in each others names...makes things less complicated if something should happen. The Registrar actually suggested it.- fightfire

Better equipment!
Could not agree more! At this point in my life, I don't see scrambling to get hay in (because the "weather-guessers" got it wrong, again) before the rain AND fighting to keep equipment that was built near/before my birth operating as a fun way to spend my time away from the firehouse. Old Grimm Belt Driven Tedder
Call Leader. 802-775-5411 7:30-4:30 MF and 8:00-3:00 Sat. Have the same tedder- love it's simplicity. Called them earlier this Feb--had the springs in stock! Got them in a few days, seems like it was somewhere around $6-12 ea plus nominal shipping. Bet they can hook ya up with a belt as well...- fightfire

Car on fire
Absolutely love it when bystanders seem to have all the answers! 600+ carcenogenic/toxic chemicals produced by burning vehicles/contents---you want to suck that into your lungs, knock yourself out! Belarus and Zetor tractors???
Still running my 530 on a regular basis. A little less now that I bought a MF 698 with cab/ac. Still as handy as a pocket on a shirt, for the $. Have had virtually no issues mechanically, but it is a crude looking and clunky machine. Power steering not the best, especially with the over-sized... -

CHEVROLET pickups
My 2011 2500HD shows an average of 14.5 mpg...and it's 4x4 with 3.73 rear end. I think I'll keep it. -

2006 Buick LaCrosse
Have a similar '06, a Lucerne,bought with 67k now nearing 160k. No mechanical issues. Only issue we're having is the poor quality chrome on the steel rims- is peeling off the outside and there is oxidation/pitting on the inner bead allowing for slow leaks on several tires. Replacing Disc blades
Have a Kewanne disc. Have multiple broken blades to replace scattered throughout the 4 gangs (yep, we got rocks/barrel-size boulders here in Preble Co). The appropriate replacements purchased are 18" (the older ones that are intact are about 16"). I am inclined to put at least 2 on each gang...- fightfire

Sign of the times
Both parents requested cremation, kept my Dad's ashes here until my Mom went. Buried them together in a small vault on a single grave.
