sorta O.T. collecting maple sap.
I collect the sap in the afternoon and place it in 30 gallon containers. Then the next morning when the ground is frozen I go out with my Ford 861 and pick up the containers. loader opinion
We have a Ford loader (trip Bucket) on our Ford 861 and I would not be without it. There is just a whole lot of things you can do with it. The loader has been on there for the 23 years I have owned it and so far no big wear problems on the front end. Course I don't put over 100 hours a year... -

Are both the long and short needle trees dying or is it just the short needled ones? From your description of the dying going from the ground up I would lean toward them being spruce. (short needles) Many spruce windbreaks which are on sites that are not normal for them will face this kind of...- Firewood
