    A friend of mine picked up a 4890 drove it around a little paid for it came back with a truck hauled it to the farm and now noticed the third range does not work. It does not slip just wont come out of 2nd range. Sounds like a adjustment issue but thought I would ask some folks with far mor case...

    The bushing is too big for the starter bushing the bearings are over .250 and the springs IDK.

    I would of recognized a clip off any master link. That is a spring 4 or 5 coils 2 of them along with a brass bushing and 4 roller bearings not tapered bearings but straight roller bearings. I can not see anyway that could be starter parts. the bushing is too small to be the clutch shaft bushing...

    No access port, not the shaft bushing, the throw out bearing and pilot bearing are intact

    BEM i pulled my 5600 apart to do a clutch job found a brass bushing 4 roller bearings and 2 of the springs seen in the pic below can you tell me where they came from. thanks[/img:4d10844c96]

    I have a oil industry back ground and in one of the pressure control divisions the iron they pump fluid through tends to erode to combat this problem they would click as they called it to check wall thickness of the iron.
