1940 John Deere Model A front wheels wobble.

Depends if it comes apart often the whole pedestal will be off the tractor and you will be going through it. I have pulled a sector right off easily to clean up pieces of a bearing on the steering shaft that came apart into the grease and I have had one stuck on so bad it took some persuasion...

Obliterated serial number on a B.

a picture of tag and tractor might help even a partial serial number should give some answers and we can get a range by some of its options it’s not unusual to have tag issues but looking like it’s filed off does make a person think a bit

    Aftermarket Water Pump Rebuild?

Yes but I also mean physically larger it’s 4 inches taller and wider it holds several gallons more you can only fit the size radiator under that beautiful tinwork that you can fit. I didn’t count the rows on the 52 G that was here for new tanks and a core a couple years ago but I know the good...

    2015 5055e turn up horsepower

At 10 hp it’s unlikely you would notice a difference I wouldn’t touch it. It should be new enough to be common rail so no difference in pump setting it’s gonna have ALOT of pressure at the rail it will be the same pump all in the size of injector tip so those injectors out of the next size up...

    Aftermarket Water Pump Rebuild?

Was early enough by the look of the type of pipe coming out of the radiator to originally be thermosiphon? A and G with the bigger radiator had significantly less trouble overheating when I’ve been putting them under load in the summer time. Unless you are pulling with it or doing something...

    2520 starter issues

What’s the coil wire have for voltage to it? There is a resistor I believe on some 20 series attached to the actual key switch because a 6v ignition coil is used even though the tractor is 12 had an 2510 and 3010 wired similarly and thats where they add the resistor it’s a bit different than...

    JD 146 Loader Cylinder Seals

That would do it. Pressure from oil on the inside spreads that and makes the seal. A wise man in the cylinder shop once told me the rest of the seals he could make out of a slurpie cup from the gas station that grooved seal in the head is the only one installed in the correct direction groove...

Setting the valves on 1930 D

From time to time I’ve seen a 2 cylinder with a punch mark at this location on the flywheel added perhaps by a helpful mechanic Check your lash this is for a B but the process would be the same You do have to be on the correct revolution of the 2 possible so that can be how this gets screwed...
