    GOTO TN

Glad you had a good time! I'm a member of that club but I dont get to participate as much as I would like. You even got a pic of my little lowered B (#122). She just got finished pushing some dirt before I took her down so she was definitely in her work clothes. I'm still rounding up parts but...

    New daily driver

I have a 4 cyl automatic regular cab that's my daily driver. It has an adequate amount of power and hauls loads suited for it well. However it has poor wiring and electrical connections. It will definitely be my last. The ecoboost v6 f150's we have at work get better fuel mileage than my 4cyl...

    3pthitch

I gave one away last fall that came off of my B. It worked but it didn't work right. If you had the carry all on it and leveled the carry all at ground level it would tilt it backwards as it lifted so everything rolled off the back. The previous owner had ordered it off eBay. Guy at work was...

    IB Allis Project

Looks like a great start. I looked for one for years but they where not that popular around here. I finally lowered an adjustable front B and it has became my favorite little chore tractor.

    Thoughts on a A/C- B

I think they would be great little mowing tractors. I lowered mine by turning the final drives forward like an industrial b. I had plans of putting a belly mower on mine but made a subframe for a front blade and its kind of a pain to get on and off so I will keep my mower for the time...

Ear Plugs - Disposable - Recommendations

I really like the Sparkplug brand. A wall mount pack of 500 is a little more than 50 bucks at various places on the internet. Not dirt cheap but theyre the most comfortable I have found. I wear them almost 8 hrs a day.

    Lowered Allis C

I lowered an Allis B last year, it ends up being around 9 inches lower rotating the final drives 90 degrees. Youd have to take that amount out of the front height so maybe half in smaller tires/rims and half out of the pedestal. I think it could be done. The hardest part of lowering the B was...

    High mileage motor oil

Keep doing what youre doing now no reason to change. Ive ran two engines over 300,000 while using the same oil I used when they where new. Oil change intervals and regular maintenance will get you alot of life out of an engine

    OT--Magnesium welding.

Dont try it. Like the other posters have said inert gas enclosure.

Will the US ever embrace the metric system?

I work for a large mining equipment manufacturer. Customers can order our equipment with standard or metric fasteners. We have prints that are in both metric and standard, some weldments are standard that after theyre completed weld to a structure that may be standard or metric. Either system is...

Do you have any pics of the cab on yours that you could post? Especially of the interior and the doors.

    IB

I dont know anything personally about the cab but someone may be along shortly that does. I have pics of another style cab on an IB that has a door on the rear side. Im working on lowering a standard B at the moment and have measured and sketched a cab for it but I havent gotten that far along...
