Massey 283 …Thoughts?
I bought a 1988 Massey 283 with 1150 hrs( when the meter stopped…. Yeah right !!!). Runs great, no issues . First off what are your thoughts on this tractor and are there any issues to be aware of with this model? Question about 3/8 Hydraulic Hard Line Thread vs 3/8 NPT
Just to round this out, I took to the hydraulic shop today. They said it’s SAE 3/8 and made me some new hoses. Thanks for everyone’s input .- flat-creek

MF 255 PTO wont engage help.
I have a similar tractor . At least on mine, As you are sitting on the seat , on the left hand side of the tractor towards the bottom of the tractor chassis, there is a round opening to the hydraulic area. Question about 3/8 Hydraulic Hard Line Thread vs 3/8 NPT
I have a hard line for a hydraulic steering system from an Ursus 2812(MF231/235251) . I replaced the orbital steering valve and one of the lines was frozen so I need to replace. The female connector fits over a 3/8 NPT male but the threads are off. The thread count appears less than the NPT pipe...- flat-creek
