    8N and snow

NE Ohio here and I've used my 8Ns to keep several drives clear during the last few winters. I've had luck with both loaded and unloaded tires. Have not had to use chains yet, a little difficulty on ice at times but I've managed it. The main difference is I use a scraper box with a rear...

Early 8n rear tires for snow backblading

I never tried a blade. But have used different 8Ns to clear snow with a back facing drag box for years in NE Ohio. One with loaded tires and one without. Did have a little trouble spinning tires on ice a few occasions, but I never needed to install chains, just got a bit more momentum before...

New plug wires and plugs. Also tried cap off of another 8n that ran before sitting with the same results. Have not checked for proper fire but looked like plenty of fire and the spark will jump at least an 1/8th inch.

    Troubleshooting help.

I'm at a loss with my 8N. Any help would be appreciated. Full story bellow, but the summary is that it is not firing on the second cylinder. I've checked the timing, rebuilt the carb, replaced the manifold gasket and inspected the manifold, have plenty of fire from the plug, and the plug is...
