    I had similar issues.The left hand was a real oily mess. I had both axles "metal sprayed" and then turned down to spec. A$160.00 for both.     Question about warning light TEA20

    My 1953 TEA20 had a warning light with that coil on it. It was in bad shape, with the coil broken and globe burnt out, so I replaced it with a rubbishy looking aftermarket one. Seeing I never throw anything away, I probably still have the old one to take a photo of! Frank
