    Ron is right. Kerosene is much too pricey, but that's what they were designed to use. I borrowed a working three way valve and ran my 35 B with it. It was really smooth and sounded better, but just too much hassle as my B will never work hard again. I don't think there's much difference...

    If you live in an oil producing area, go to a drilling supply company. They sell an adhesive backed heavy tape that works great. I used it on mine and am completely satisfied. Frank

    Jim, If you will be working on this tractor yourself, invest in SM2004 from John Deere. Also the parts manual is a must. The other manuals I've seen are too general and don't give you enough info. It is a big job to get to the inner bearing seal and replace it. It is lubed by the Trans/Diff...
