    Proofmeter?

    i guess we don't want a proofmeter with an hour counter. but we do want a tach. these mount on the back of the generator? or part of the ignition assy., to count how many times it sends elect. to the plugs to see how many times the crankshaft is turning and how many RPMs it is at. so just any...

    instead of using an aftermarket proofmeter could a 4 speed transmission tach be used in the same manner? without modification.

    so the governor is in front of the carb, i see a external oil line, a nub of metal underneath that, and another on the exterior side of the governor.

    I just need to know what the proof meter hooks up into. I am assuming from what i have read that it goes into the distributor and the governor.
