Barnyard fix for a GM 14 bolt on a wood trailer

If your area is anything like Minnesota with road salt you'll likely have 50-60 dollars on new ubolts if you did replace it. So bearings don't seem too bad then. Also you could probably swap 10 or 12 bolt axle in too, should be cheaper. Most have same spring perch width.

    best money you ever spent

I'll go with something newer too. Only had this about a month or so, but it is slick in a dirt floor shed or if you want to work outside under a tree or something.

    Good as new, right?

I tried taping this up years ago, no good. Cat likes it though.

small ATV winch question about 12v power

Yeah I'd definitely get that WARN switch in the picture posted. I've probably raised and lowered the plow on my wheeler 5,000 times since I've had it. Still feels new.

    Cub Cadet Diesel 782D

FWIW There is one diesel on marketplace here for 3500. 50 deck is only attachment that comes with it. They started at 4500 and came down to 35. Similar condition. Several gas units 1500-2k.

    Just because it's a Stihl

I was surprised how capable little 170s are. The first time my big saw got away from me I realized it'd be nice to have a smaller one for some stuff. Handy little saw.

    Just because it's a Stihl

I bought a 170 summer of 21, at that time there was supposedly a shortage of them. Maybe people THINK there still is??

    Chevy steering wheel repair

Guys were talking about that on a chevy squarebody forum the other day. Nobody had a good answer. I had one pickup that would get kind of moldy on the wheel,I think parking in a pole barn that is a little damp and skin oil causes that. Maybe some solvent on previous owners hands or something...

    Bolt ID

I just bought these tow hooks at a swap meet with those bolts, so I agree with the grade 8. I don't know what they came off, newer pickup I suspect.

    Tire Removal

I've laid them on the ground and after breaking bead, put my knees on tire pushing the bead down towards middle of rim, then using a pry bar to pry bead up and over rim on opposite side. Kinda like knees at 6 o'clock on tire and prying with bar at 12 o'clock and working way around.

I think my mom got 900 an acre in 1993 when she sold the last ground. Nice fields, Mankato area.

I found this on ebay. Lists a couple names. It was 1953 Firestone tractor tire ad.

    Blonde, Redhead,or Brunette?

Opposite here in MN, probably 300 chicks between 2 stores available this a.m. Nothing available with webbed feet. People are trying to sell adult hen ducks $25-35 each on Craigslist.

    Something else the Internet ruined

See if you can pull the gears out. I think on a 14 bolt you can as it had spindles on full floating axles. Might need to replace the bearings. I think you can get 14s at the u-pull 150-200 around here.
