    G-1000 Propane. Wrist Pins

    Propanes can have diesel pistons and rods installed no problem. It is a common switch. A lot of times you can use a G900 diesel rod and get by.

    The G1000's would have had a round shield like that... however I think that one is for an older tractor. Consider the Prairie Gold color.

    Late G900 Heat Baffle

    According to Page 8 of Supp B to the G900 Repair catalog, there is a heat shield. One for diesel and a separate for LP. Says it was used on Diesel tractors 33101377 and after and LP tractors 33000551 and after. I would assume that all of the special late G900 LP tractors would have it too.

    I am looking for the small 1000 rpm pto shaft that has the large 1 3/4 20 spline adapting shaft to slide into the dyno. Any ideas on where to get one? AW has it but it is big bucks...

    No one other than me must have gear or bearing trouble as a result of using hytran.... seems to me splash lubed spur gears need a heavy oil. If the torque "slips" in low side its because the heavy oil is sort of gluing the plates together... no harm no foul. Eventually the viscosity of the oil...

    Waukesha Rod Journal Diameter

    I am also looking to bore this engine as it is not sleeved... Currently it is 4.125 bore. Looking to go to 4.295. It will take almost that to clean up a bore where a wrist pin came out. Am I getting into a disaster?

    I believe that this is a gear pump. It is driven off of the cam shaft and sets in the bottom of the oil pan. Looks just like what is in my MM tractors....

    M670

    You need a different motor. These can be sourced from another G1000 or G900. Maybe M670 but not sure. I do know that the vista runs a ross unit which is totally different. Give the standard parts places a call for a replacement unit. After you get it, send it down to Welters for a total rebuild...
