72, 4000 3 point hitch will not lift.

Ford 4000 No Spark
You might consider converting to PERTRONIX electronic ignition...this replaces condenser and points. Install is less than an hour and is a long term no spark solution. I also replaced coil with pertronix. -

Need Help with Ford 2000 LCG Tractor

Gas tank issue/ need advise.
Don't think under normal circumstances that tank or fuel tap should be deteriorated in that short a time. Does the gas in the tank smell like gasoline should? Recommend you drain the tank, remove the fuel tap and clean the filter screen located on it. Take a good look in the tank when... -

Sometimes it is amazing what is available from CNHI...then again Ford tended to carry over parts in a lot of cases from one model to another. By all means, try YT and Messicks has perhaps even more than CNHI on older models. Good luck! -

Fuel level in sediment bowl on 1973 F9rd 200 gas
Lsson learned the hard way...keep a good check on the engine oil. Be aware of level increase, odor of gasoline in oil, feel viscosity of oil on dip stick, watch the color for blackening. All signs of gas in oil, usually from ruptured diaphram in fuel pump. -

ford 2000 intermittent lifting
You may be aware or not, but there are 2 filters (inflow and output) in the hydraulic sump. One of them is a paper cartridge encased in a steel mesh. PIB to service so a lot of them never were.
