    MF 236 load on a 165/175

I've got the loader and no brackets, and want to mount on a 165. I'm getting ready to fabricate brackets, and I'd like to try to make them close to stock. I've never seen the mounts in person. I'm in southern Iowa, willing to drive a bit to come look at the brackets and maybe take a few...

    236 Loader brackets

100% agree. I've seen some old threads of others talking of making these same brackets, and didn't know if there might be project files somewhere or even sketches with dimensions for things people have fabricated or copied. I haven't seen a place like that for old tractor stuff, but have for...

    236 Loader brackets

I called several salvage places today and confirmed my suspicions. No brackets around without the loader too. I can make them. Might need to see if I can find one to take some measurements of. I don't suppose there's anyplace with drawings online is there?

Farmer Jones, thanks for confirming this. I don't have the ops manual.

    236 Loader brackets

Thanks Steve, that's kind of what I'm thinking. It looks identical, and it makes me wonder the 100 series is not listed or what the difference might be. Finding a set would be awesome. It looks like a nice quick attach loader with the proper brackets.

    236 Loader brackets

Yeah, but on this forum there are many threads of people indicating they have a 100 series with this loader. And if you Google 165 massey 236 loader, you'll find tons of images of 236 loaders on 165 and 175s. And while it's been a few years, I've seen it in person, with brackets like in the...

    236 Loader brackets

I've got a 165, and a 236 loader, without the brackets. I'm looking in the parts book on Agco, and talked to the local parts dealer, and the books don't show mounting kits for a 165, though I know I've seen the 236 on 100 series tractors, and web image searches turn up brackets that look like...

    MF165 Diesel Wiring Diagram

I'm usually pretty good at digging around and finding what I need, but I can't seem to find a decent diagram for a diesel 165 with a generator that includes colors. Anyone have one? I have several wires with ends cut (charging and start) and would just like to know what does what without...

    mf135 gas power steering hoses

Just to close it out, I went to my local small town old school NAPA store and they put compression fittings on my steel ends and crimped on new hoses for $60 per hose. This make the tubing hold down clamp near the back of the dash not fit over the metal tube (since there's now hose there) but I...

    mf135 gas power steering hoses

Thanks for the info. I'll hit up my local NAPA this week and see what they say. I've had them and an independent carquest shop make other hoses for vehicles and hydraulic applications, but didn't know if these fittings were something they might have. Hydraulic shops around my parts have gone...

    mf135 gas power steering hoses

I have a gas 135 and blew a power steering hose last week. I've done a little looking online and it appears there aren't any aftermarket solutions for these, and these things are pricey! Has anyone had luck having them fabricated, or is there some type of fitting a shop might use on the...

    John Deere 440IC question

Thanks Jim. Sounds like it was doing what it was supposed to. Can I ask your thoughts about the sand? This machine had a great undercarriage. I'm sure I could tear it down and rebuild it/clean it, and that would be the only way to have any confidence in the sand being removed. Is this a frame...
