Massey 44 brake shaft leaking oil........
Yes, there is a snap ring holding the brake drum on. It's raining now but I'll dig a little deeper when it's a little drier.- Gary Benson 56

Massey 44 brake shaft leaking oil........
The seals must be behind the brake drums. I haven't got that deep into it yet. I noticed the brake shoe linings are worn so I did order those. Maybe NAPA can match the seals if I find them. Thank you. It's a gas burner with PTO but it has been disabled.- Gary Benson 56

Massey 44 brake shaft leaking oil........
Hey guy. I have a 51 Massey Harris 44 that leaks oil out of the brake shaft that goes through the side plates to the brake shoes. There doesn't seem to be a seal to prevent it. What can I do to stop it?- Gary Benson 56
