    The rear seal on the cub engine is leaking. Can it be replaced by removing the clutch or do you have to remove pan etc.. I haven't got my service manual yet so I'm flying blind until I get one. Thanks in Advance Gary

    S belt pulley

    I have a 1947 Case S with 13 x26 tires and it has a pulley without any modifications. I don't know what the differnce is between a 47 and a 49.

    Traveling in Arizona

    There will be one in Welton about 25 miles east of Yuma on the 17th. It is a one day show I've never been there but I hear it is a good one. I'm taking my Case S there.

    Flambeau Red Paint

    My local branch of JPS paint stores looked up the Flambeau Red color, got the paint and put it in spray cans. I had to get a pint of paint which made 4 cans of spray. $20 for the paint and $10 for each spray can. JPS is a large chain I live in a small town in AZ so I presume they cover the U...

    Wheel weights

    I'm trying to determine the weight of my Case S. Without hauling it off to a scale. I understand the build weight to be about 3600#. I have rear wheel weights that are 18" in dia. and about 3" thick, any idea what one of those weigh?

    Unleaded fuel

    The shop didn't put in new seats as they had been replaced at one time. They were afraid if they had to do any mill work on seat area they might get into the water jacket. They ground the seats and the new valves seated good.

    Unleaded fuel

    I just completed rebuilding the head on my Case S. I'm concerned about burning unleaded now. I won't be using it much just to pull once in a while, but as expensive as the rebuild was I don't want to burn the valves. Is there some sort of additive I should add to the gas?

    Desert Tan in spray cans at dealers???

    It is a store that handles all sorts of paint household and automotive and handleds a line by PPG. Look on the internet for a dealer in your local with that brand of paint. I don't think it is just a western brand as I live in AZ. Paint code # for Flambuea red is 71282.

    I went to my local paint dealer and they handled the PPG paint line which had a formula for Flambuea Red. I had to buy a pint and they put it into spray cans for me. It makes about 4 spray cans full. So I would assume that they could probaly match up your tan

    Case S tractor

    I paid $1000 for one this spring, it runs and is respectable looking but needs to be restored, tin is good. Let me kow how you do I'm not sure the price I paid was to much or to little I just wanted it.

    S head rebuild

    I pulled the head off my S and took it to a local shop for repair. It looks like it needs all new valves, springs, guides and seats. Yesterdays has the gasket set but doesn't have parts for the head. Any suggestions where I can locate the necessary parts?
