    Bears - Wolves - Alligators

Mainly coyotes here in central Ks. Don't have to drive very far on any major road to find dead deer in the ditch. Some reports of Bobcats.

    Opinions Solicited

I prefer to have both feet firmly on the floor when using the table saw and concentrate on the task. I've installed a paddle switch I ca hit with my knee which works very well for me so as to keep both hand in control of the work piece. Just my thoughts.

Broken Crossmember to Reverser Bolt - John Deere 350 Dozer - How to Fix?

Now this is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt. If it were me I would start by using a drill bit the size of that hole in the cross member so as to start a divit in the center of the stub. That way you would have a starting place to start drilling with a smaller bit and then go...

    Under ground water line.

At work we had a water line leak under a concrete covered lot. They used some kind of listening device to find it. Don't have any information on what it was.

    Echo chainsaw

Does it have a spark arrester on the muffler? If so I would check it for carbon buildup. That's what happened to my sthil string trimmer. After removing it it's been running great for years.

Grandpa Love, keep doing what your doing. I enjoy seeing your posts. Some of your projects look pretty rough but you always turn them around and put together a good running tractor.

Good gasket material for oil drain plug?

Why not just take the drain plug to your local auto parts store and ask for a oil plug washer to fit. They are usually made of a teflon type material or something like that made for oil plugs.

Fritz, I've got Van Dorn valve and seat grinding equipment that my Dad used many years ago. I didn't think anyone would recognize that name. Oh but it's not for sale, I still use it occasionally.

    What was I thinking?

Had my 53 Ford Mainline in storage since 86, been collecting parts and misc. Now that I'm retired I've started working on it. My 73 year old body can't crawl around under the hood and under the car like I used to, so going slow a little at a time. Did get the engine changed out last summer and...

If it spun two rod bearings I would want to do more than just remove the crank and replace two rods. The main bearing bores near those rods need to be checked for distortion and over heating. Plus all that debris from those bearings need to be cleaned out of the rest of the block. Just my opinion.

    Todays snow.

    Spray paint can adaptor

Also have had one for years, works really well. Get one that fits over the newer large spray button, it will work on the small nozzles and the large ones.
