MF 255 Battery Removal

MF 255 Battery Removal
Just picked up a 1978 MF 255 and the batteries are dead. I opened the 2 grilles in the front and noticed neither battery could fit through either opening. I figure they've gotta come out of the side panel but the front end loader is in the way. Does anyone know if I need to remove the FEL...- geoffgrid
