    3020 John Deere LP gas

    I just bought a John Deere 3020 lp gas. What is the gage on the right side of the lp tank for ? It has two wires coming out the bottom of the gage that have been cut off. It's a 1964 tractor.

    John Deere 555 Dozer

    I agree with Roy, I had a 555B , they have a weak 3 speed power shift that's made in England. Stay away from those, I now have a 555 G, it has a 4 speed trany witch is a much better machine, it weighs around 21 thousand. I like the G model.

    Hi Clint, When I was a teen ager, my dad converted every thing to propane, even my mom's car. Then he bought a factory built JD 60 and Ford 860. I like the clean burning fuel. I think an old LP tractor will be in much better shape than gas or diesel with the same hours. I have a JD 70lp...

    Road speed on jd 530

    Hi Joe, Mike's right, right at 10 mph. I have a 530, and thats all it will do. Still a nice parade tractor though. I take my 630 or 70 on tractor cruses.

    620 LP Starter

    Hi Scott, I have a 70lp and a 630lp, both start good. You might try heaver battery cables and make sure the ends very tight, and use a braded ground strap. I hope this might help, just a thought. Gerald
