Farmall plow Bracket?? What is it?

My guess is it's a farmered bracket. His tractor most likely had a mounting hole in his rear final that was stripped out or had a broken off stud in it, so he cut the bracket and rotated it to use his other good mounting hole pattern.

    Can anyone identify this tiller?

I have this 4 ft. tiller that I need blades for but haven't been able to match the blade size. PO painted it green and when I washed it today the older green paint is showing through and looks like JD green. The nameplate is missing, any help appreciated. GP

Evidently some of the Pesco pumps have them, they're underneath the pipe plug on the side of the pump.

    SA hydraulic pump

I have a hydraulic pump that I'm trying to rebuild and it's missing a few parts. What is missing is the check ball and the check ball spring and was wondering if anyone could give me some dimensions on these two parts. Since they're not available any longer, I hope I can match something. The...

Farmall C Steering Gear Box - Oil Level

A good solution which I did on my SA is to remove the fill plug and then drill and tap and install a grease fitting. When you lube the tractor, give it one squirt.

    Ring and pinion questions

I can't answer if it would work in a 560. Since your ratio is 47:19 (2.47) is the lowest ratio, changing to both higher ratios will decrease your speed at the same engine RPM. The 50:19 gears will decrease your speed by 6% and the 49:15 gears will reduce your speed by 24%

    International 140 Hydraulics

On the lever where it connects to the rod going to the hydraulic unit, there are two nuts. Loosen the outer nut then tighten the inner nut some and try the lever. If the friction washer is ok, you can adjust the friction so that it holds. If it works, then tighten the outer nut while holding the...

Conversion of a Super A to 12 Volt.

I have 2 Cubs still 6v, no problems. But when my SA quit charging, I finally converted to a Hitachi alternator because I came to the conclusion that you can't buy a good regulator. Making the old electro-mechanical regulators is a lost art that hasn't been rediscovered in China. I spent more on...

How To Remove The Axle In The Final Drive On A Cub

Or a press if you have one.Getting it to move at first takes some good force on some but not all. Don't loose the small shims between the inside bearing and the spacer, easy to miss in the grease and oil. They have to be put back in to properly pre-load the tapered bearings.

a super a final drive (bull gear)

The A is 351 808 R91 SA is 351 808 R93 I've been told that if the base number is the same it's interchangeable but I'd check it closely for fit.

    Hitachi alternators

The 14255 is slightly larger but I decided to use it since it came with the connector but the 14231 doesn't (OReillys). Here is a diagram showing the connector layout. Remember too the current specs for alternators are typically at 3000 rpms, which it can't supply on a tractor running at half...

    Wiring on a Farmall 140 12v Conversion

Here is my schematic for using a Hitachi conversion on a SA. Some object to the use of fuses, your choice. I think this is because the old tractors using a generator didn't fuse the output of the generator so neither should the alternator. But the alternator operates differently than a generator...
