FORD 2000 3CYL diesel new hydraulic pump, still no flow

Update folks! I'd like to personally thank each of you for the links to the manuals and for your advice! I just now got everything hooked back up and bolted in and slapped my old rusty bush hog on and it's cutting through e everything like butter. The old blue Clockwork Beast rides again!

FORD 2000 3CYL diesel new hydraulic pump, still no flow

I pulled the top assembly off. The unloader was stuck enough to where I had to tap it out with a bolt. The gasket set I bought didn't send the correct o-ring for it, so I will try this one. Is it a square type? Or just regular round. The ones that were close to the right size were too wide for...

FORD 2000 3CYL diesel new hydraulic pump, still no flow

My unloader/relief valve arrives Monday! hopefully that fixes this whole mess. If not, I also bought the top plate gasket/o-ring set to rebuild that as well.

Is the unloader valve the "Relief valve, installed into the belly of the hydraulic housing of the tractor." or is it something in the top plate assembly? Again, if someone has a schematic of that are, I would greatly appreciate it. I have had mixed luck looking for them online.

FORD 2000 3CYL diesel new hydraulic pump, still no flow

The father/daughter duo over at FarmTractorRepair have some good reference videos if you folks have never heard of them. From what I have gathered last night, it could be the bottom pressure relief valve. It's about 65 bucks, so that's a start if bleeding it more doesn't work.

I'll just go home today and re-bleed it and go watch some TV for a few lol. Maybe when I come back out those arms will be up! If that fails, I'll just have to do it the cowboy way.

FORD 2000 3CYL diesel new hydraulic pump, still no flow

Well, wish me luck. In the morning I'm ordering a complete rebuild kit along with the draft plunger and the relief valve. Hopefully the relief valve fixes it, but if not, I'm going to yank the whole top plate off and rework it. I'll report after. Hopefully if this works, it will help somebody else!

Also, I watched a video on how to test if the pump is getting fluid to the top lid by removing the plug on the front of the lid, and no fluid is shooting out. From this diagnosis, I assume I need to rebuild the top lid assembly. Sound about right?

I got it pumping good, but the lift arms still won't raise. It's been sitting a couple years. Since I blew out my Achilles tendon. Could the junk in the top plate be stuck? Or did I just not bleed it good enough? So close! Super bummed out about this!

I saw someone trying to do something like this on youtube. I could hear fluid moving running back down after I turned the tractor off. maybe it just wasnt strong enough to get all the way up there without the air boost. I'll try that.
