    Ron, With our testing of slip clutches we weren't overly impressed. What we found was when the digging got tougher it would start to slip and was almost impossible to dig a hole . We found you could be more productive with shear bolts.

    The F8 gearbox takes 3 lbs of an EP (extreme pressure rated) good quality gun grease. Oil will work but it will leak because they are grease seals and not oil seals. When it comes to shear bolts, you should use grade 2 or 5. The shear bolt is the one that connects auger to the gearbox. Where...

    Once you have split your wood you can take the handle all the way opposite of cutting and the cylinder will return all the way and kick the handle back to neutral.

    Here is a tip for the dust cap. Drill and tap a hole off to the side and install a grease zerk. Install cap and tack weld in a couple of places. You will be able to add grease, but the cap won't come off.

    I would have to agree with NickatKY. The Danuser/Case Blades had 2 metal tags. One for Danuser and one for Case. The blade in your picture is missing the handle to adjust the angle and the 3pt upper configuration is home made. Glenn Danuser
