    What is this?

    I have wondered for a long time what this is. I found it in a dump area on an old farm. It is about 3' wide and 2' high made of sturdy metal about 1/4" thick. It is one of a number of similar pieces, some smaller, some slightly larger. The top loop swivels. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

    valve retainers on jd 1010

    hey guys I'm replacing valve springs and noticed one retainer is basically flat and the other is convoluted somewhat. Can anyone tell me why, it appears the convoluted is on the intake. Also, are the valve seals only on the intake on the 1010; Thanks
