    Ford 2000 Won't Turn Left - Thrust Bearing?

    I fixed it, and it was the upper thrust bearing. However, after about 3 hours it broke again! I'm thinking of investing in a power steering kit to install. Thoughts?

    Alright, finally got around to it. The thrust bearing was annihilated and I did have to fish rollers and pieces of the bearing out of the box. When I replaced everything, however, the tractor still won't turn left and the shaft still backs out. It can't be the bearing again, can it?! Would...

    OK, got a problem. I can't get the steering wheel off! The puller just tears the wheel apart. Is there a good trick to this, or should I just cut the shaft and replace the shaft and wheel?
