    Hauling a 2590 questions

    When binding down the chains, should the gear shift be left in neutral so it doesn't put stress on the park pawl? After binding do you leave it in neutral or do you put it in park if it goes? If it does not go into park leave it in neutral? Or is it fine to put in park, bind and go? Also...

    Seems to me like my starter and generator repair guy was able to get a drive that is for a Detroit Deisel to fit my 800 com diesel. Sorry that dont know any details, but that may give you some info to work with.

    400 power steering

    I have found the same eaton PS pump on old fords and IH trucks. I have one from a IH on my 930.

    800 power steering unit leaking

    ther is seals that do go bad from time to time. not a difficult fix but very time consuming. front pedistal, tin work, steering shaft, radiator, all have to be removed. main seals are still avaliable. seems like i had to make a couple minor seals. hope this helps, greg
